OK, I have to share my pain with you guys. I pre-ordered Nightfall from Best Buy. Like an idiot, I decided to have it mailed to me at first. Monday morning, I realized I'm not gonna get the game mailed on time. So I e-mailed Best Buy asking them to change my order to in store pick up (which they expressly say you can do on their web-site). After 3 days of waiting for a responce, I get an e-mail this afternoon from Best Buy shipping saying that they just shipped my copy. Odd because that is exactly what I asked them NOT to do.
I finally recieved a reply from customer service stating that they're sorry but they have already shipped my copy and the can't change the delivery method any more. I don't know if they wanted to add insult to injury, but the time stamp on the e-mail from customer service? 12:01 am on 10/27/2006; i.e. the exact minute Nightfall was officially live. Needless to say I will not be patronaging their fine establishment in the near future.
So while I'm waiting, kill some margonites for poor Tobias. If a Best Buy in Phoenix gets blown up tomorrow, know that it isn't Al Qaeda.
